NOTD | Back to Basics With a French Manicure

Evening my lovely gems. If you read one of my previous posts you will know that I’ve had a bit of a drastic change with my hair and this now also goes for my nails. I feel like a lot of the nail polish colours out there aren’t really doing it for me at the moment - they all seem to be a bit meh? Which is why I have gone back to basics with none other than a French manicure.

I used ORLY’s White Out for mine, it’s super pigmented which makes it the perfect partner for a French manicures. I find french manis are super easy and quick to create. Of course, they can take practice, but when you get the hang of it you won’t look back! I seem to always go through random phases where I will french it up on my nails. But I’ve gotta say, it’s such a great and simple look that goes with everything.

What have you got on your nails today? Anyone else donning a French mani?

Love this! It looks so sophisticated and chic. I’ve had bare nails for a while now because they’re so short but I love doing a subtle french manicure any day! I always use tape to get an even line :)

French manicures are my fave! I don’t have a stead hand so I’ve never attempted to do it myself so I’d rather get them done… would you be interested in doing a tutorial for the clumsy ones out there? LOL! ;)

You’ve done it without tape??? It is so neat! I too have these phases when I just want a nude colour on my nails.
