Aussie Angel Delight!

After a long day at work I came home to a little surprise last night! You may or may not know, but I was recently contacted by Aussie asking me if I’d like to be an AUSSIE ANGEL - I jumped at the chance!! I am in the LUSCIOUS LONG tribe, as my hair is fairly long. I’ve never tried any of their products but have definitely heard very good things from them & thought I could review their products for all you lovely readers… I’m guessing you’re dying to know what surprise I came home too?

I was shocked to see such a massive box & couldn’t wait to rip it open (okay, not literally!) LOL.

Inside, to my surprise, there was a bottle of Aussie conditioner wrapped up very cutely with a balloon which read…

I’ve seen adverts of this conditioner plastered all over the the London underground. I find their adverts very enticing! It did make me want to try it but sadly, I seem to get whatever shampoo is on offer  !

I’m really excited to try this conditioner. Personally, I stay away from conditioners as it just makes my hair very greasy (does anyone else get that too?) which means I have to wash it every other day & quite frankly, because I have so much hair, I just can’t be bothered! Supposedly, the lusciously light conditioner range from Aussie contains a combination of lightweight conditioning ingredients specifically designed to NOT weight hair down! I’m off to wash my hair with this little baby :)

P.S - I would just like to say one more thing before I go… I’m sure you’ve all heard of the devastating news in Japan & for many other countries across the Pacific ocean. My heart & prayers go out to everyone who is involved in this. I hope things get better very soon. I have read some really nasty things about this horrible event on Twitter & Facebook. I’m all for freedom of speech & being honest but this is a time to work together to help one another out. Not a time to bring up the recession & saying silly things about giving help/money to Japan. We are all human at the end of the day & I’m sure no one would want to be in the same situation that some people are in at this very moment. So lets all help, hope & pray as much as we possibly can so that things get better. Sorry for the rant, it just really bugs me when people can be so selfish, inconsiderate & down right heartless. Any ways, my prayers go out to everyone & will help as much as I can

Eeek that’s so sweet of them! Can’t wait to see what you think of the conditioner.. I didn’t like the Luscious Long range when I tried it on holiday.. But I do love the Miracle Moist stuff.. It’s actually amazing! :) xx

awww that is soo sweet of aussie to do that for you… i’ve tried this…maybe just apply it to the end of your hair….thats what i normally do…3 minute miracle is the best…

i also agree with the whole people being selfish and crap…if that happened in the uk all these people would be like “where is japan? when we need help…” well dur you wernt there for them…no matter our government is better than that…dont know how people can call themselves human with this kind of attitude..

i’m holdin a blog sale for japan over the weekend…be sure to check it out…xx

That’s so very sweet of you - I’ll definitely be checking your blog sale out, anything I can do to help out xx

Haha love the balloon! What a great gimick! I love Aussie conditioners, give me the 3 minute miracle treatment anyday. I don’t get the greasy hair problem but my hair is so dry from all the dyeing that it probably needs all the moisture it can get!

Its so awful about Japan! I hope that people can get in contact with their loved ones out there.

    xx

How exciting! There’s nothing better than coming home to a nicely wrapped gift waiting for you. I’m a huge fan of Aussie products - their 3 Minute Miracle and Conditioning Milk are lifesavers, I swear my hair wouldn’t been in half as good condition as it is now without them! So you’ll have to let us know how you got on with the Luscious Long conditioner because it’s definitely one I’ve considered trying!

And thank you for bringing up the lack of human kindness in regards to people talking about the Japan crisis. Although most of what I’ve seen on the internet has been people offering whatever help they can give, even if it’s their thoughts and prayers, there’s the odd person who’ll make a joke about it. It’s sickening to think that they can take the death and devastation of a country so lightly.

So many people have recommended that product - I need to try it!

I just found it so sad that people would even think things like that, I just had to flag it up as it really made me feel sick to the stomach. I didn’t realise people could be so heartless! x

That’s such a cute package! What a nice surprise :)

Hun, I saw Aussie products at Boots on a 3 for £10 offer and I have only tried the Aussie Aussome Volume 2 in 1 …and tbh I didn’t really like it. I just felt that it didn’t clean my hair properly and there wasn’t much volume.

Regarding the Japan tsunami/earthquake tragedy …I just can’t believe people can even bring the recession up in times like this. In times like this people should pull together and stay strong. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people involved. x

    • Kaushal says:

Oh gosh, I need to get myself to boots! I know, it’s really sad to think we live in a world where people can be so cruel x

  9. LilyLipstick says:

I’m a new Angel too, also in the Luscious Long tribe!
It was such a lovely surprise to come home to this yesterday :) x

  10. Kate says:

You are too lucky! what a gorgeous present. Hopefully it will work with your hair :)
So sad for Japan, I can’t even watch the news xo.

The conditioner genuinely made my hair feel quite light (& that’s saying something as I have very thick, long hair!) I know, it’s so devastating :(
