DIY Ring Holder.

Since I’m sorting my dressing area out I’ve been on the look out for different things to help me organise ALL the disgusting amount of things that I own! Okay, it’s not disgusting but you know what I mean! This is how my rings have been organised for a couple of years now…

BORING & super ANNOYING to find my rings! However I thought I’d have a go at making my own ring holder :) It was super easy & I had pretty much everything I needed to make it at home! Here’s what I used…

You can use any size lid of a box… I chose a fairly big one to fit ALL of my rings :) Also I used black material so it would match my lovely dressing table :) So… Here’s a step by step guide on just HOW I made it…

You can always use those bendy curlers instead of kitchen wipes - but I didn’t have any handy :) To give it that extra ‘PIZAZZ‘ I spray painted my lid GOLD :)

How do you store you rings? Let me know :)

lol ohhh its going to take me a while because ive been so busy with school and working, but hopefully by christmas time, ill be a bit more organized lol! umm I had a quick question, what kind of black fabric is it that you’re using? Is it like nylon?

            xx

          • Kaushal says:

LOL I’m sure you’ll have more time on your holidays! I think it’s silk? We had it laying around in the house… Try and use soft material that will roll easily & not be too crunchy :) xx

That’s so pretty! I’m a big fan of the ‘my jewelry shelf looks like a thrift store’ look haha. I always manage to find cute little baskets or things to store my stuff in. Right now, I have a pink dish that was originally for dip and veggies, I think. It’s a big flower and all the petals are little dishes. I also like those plastic ice cube trays from Ikea. They come in different little sizes, I have the one with flowers and I store each ring in one of the ice cube compartments. Actually, you’ve just inspired me to make a post on that! :)

    • Kaushal says:

Ooooh, I’m loving the ice cube idea for all your ice ;) I’ll deffo be checking them out next time I head to Ikea I love finding random things from Ikea - it’s a really good store for cheap little bits & bobs :) xx

    you are an absolute genius.
i’ve searched everywhereee on the internet for DIY ring holders - and yours is so simple and creative - and like you, i have tons of rings just cluttered together - so it really is so hard to see what you actually have a choose it with an outfit.
i’m always on a hunt for my rings hehe
    thanks doll, your amazing !
    xo

  30. sabine says:

i like the final result only i don’t like the fact how much fabric you used. there can be other variations, in the middle you could try to put a rolled carton…

    sorry for my bad english

    • Kaushal says:

Hi Sabine, thanks for your comments! It was made with things I already has laying around in the house which is why I used what I used. You can always use different materials - this was just my personal DIY thing!
