Sleek Face Contour Kit

Hey dolls! How many of you CONTOUR your when you’re putting your face on? I’ve gotta admit, I’d never really heard nor attempted it… till recently!

RRP: £5.99

I came across this little kit a fair few months ago! Sleek’s FACE CONTOUR KIT! I’ve pretty much fallen in love with it - now I seem to WHACK some of this one without blush most days :) What this does is it sculpts your features… It can make your checks look more defined, even your nose & can sculpt your face in general :) There are loads of YouTube tutorials & tips on contouring.

I love the matte packaging of it - I’m a sucker for nice packaging! I got the light kit as that was the one which would suit my skin best! Contouring is SUPER easy! You use the darker colour to create a ‘shadow’ where you want to sculpt your face & the lighter colour to highlight certain areas. I don’t like to do it very harsh, I tend to go for more of a natural look! I’ve only found ONE downside of this… The highlighting powder is a little too SHIMMERY for my liking… I would have preferred it to be a little more matte.

As you can see here, this is a before & after! I know you can’t tell much but I’ve got no blush on! I’ve literally just contoured my CHEEKS slightly :)

You can tell a little better with the flash on… Makes your cheeks look more defined :)

I suppose this angle is best! Here you can see what I mean about the SHIMMER of the highlighter… If it was less shimmery I think I’d love it just a little bit more :) If you like to contour your nose (using the dark colour on the sides and highlighter along the top - Kim Kardashian does this a lot!)… It can look slightly shiny because of this! Which is a bit of a bummer!

What are your thoughts on this contour kit? Have you tried it? What do you think about the highlighter? I’d love to know :)

Aw so good to actually see what it looks it! I was contemplating buying this when Sleek did their 50% off but it was sold out like straight away, but now I have seen it I think I need it! Do you use a angled brush to contour? x x x

I tried getting stuff in that sale but it was a little ridic! LOL but yep, I use an angled brush as it gives you more control over where you want to contour :) I’ve used my fan brush to get the contour line some what darker but then I tend blend it out a tad with my angled brush again hehe :) xx

Great review! I’ve got the contour powder in medium - i assumed the light one was for really fair skin tones - and it is really dark, but if i blend it intensely it ends up looking ok! I LOVE it though - definitely repurchase! I hate the highlighter though - it’s does nothing for me lol x

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks that about the highlighter! But I agree, the actual contouring powder is amazing! :) x

I think I need to get me one of them brushes.. I’m finding it a bit annoying squeezing my my blusher brushes to make it thin.. You know what I mean? :S
