If you know me, I love my cheek products. Come to think of it, I love pretty much all kinds of beauty products. But in the recent years I have noticed that I simply cannot leave the house with a bit of colour on my cheeks. Because I almost contour my cheeks every day, I love to add a bit of highlighter. In comes this beautiful little find I picked up a few weeks ago from Space.NK.

Kevyn Aucoin’s Celestial Powder. W.O.W - this simply has to be the best highlighting powder I have ever used. Do I dare say it’s my holy grail highlighter?! It is super silky, with the right amount of shimmer which suits all skin tones. Insert the beautiful swatch here:
Photos will not do this gem any justice. I urge all of you to head to a Space.NK and swatch the heck out of it. But be warned, you will want to buy it straight away. It’s the perfect mixture of a champagne colour with a slight hint of shimmer! It’s super pigmented too, so you only need a tiny amount for day-to-day wear.
One thing I would say is about the packaging doesn’t do it for me. It’s very ‘light’ in weight, which I was a little surprised with by paying £35 for it. To me, I expect more expensive products to be on the heavy side - is this just me? Also, the brush that it comes is pretty rubbish. I use my trusted Real Techniques brush to apply this. But packaging aside, it doesn’t bother me much because I’ve literally been wearing it almost every day since getting it (so I’m sure I’m just being picky) 
Have you tried anything from Kevyn Aucoin or this highlighter before? Are you addicted to highlight or is it just me? I’d love to know

This looks like such a pretty highlight. I’d be buying it if I didnt already have lots in my makeup collection! Maybe when I eventually completely finish one of them I’ll be able to treat myself!

this is a ‘wow’ highlighter and i would totally go for it if i didn’t have MAC’s lightscapade. they look similar in finish. now i jsut need something more on the champagne color scale.

What lose powder would you recommend for setting foundation?
I find that when I apply my foundation it looks the same colour as my skin, but then when I apply my setting powder it changes the colour completely!

I LOVE Rimmel’s Stay Matte powder or Make Up For Ever’s HD powder
I would go with the HD as it’s suitable for all skin tones (it’s transparent too!). ELF cosmetics do a cheaper alternative which is good too
