Happy Sunday ladies! How are you all? Hope you’ve had a good week. Mines been hectic as usual but things should be calming down real soon & you’ll be seeing a lot of me on here, Twitter, Instagram & Facebook - yipee!! This post is something which has been in the pipelines for AGES & the lighting wasn’t too great this evening for me to go swatch crazy so I thought I’d show you how I’m currently storing my disgusting amounts of makeup! It’s pretty self explanatory so I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking…

I thought I’d add how I organise my jewellery in here too as it’s all in my vanity area. The ring holder is something which I made by hand with things I had at home. You can see a step-by-step DIY post HERE.
I try to use & recycle a lot of my old boxes/lids/pots from various things (perfume sets, candle holders, old jewellery holders etc.) to organise everything. I like everything to have a specific place! You don’t need to spend a lot of money on things to help you organise. However, I do love my Muji acrylic storage bits. I love that they’re clear & I can see exactly where things are.

P.S - Muji are releasing KARDASHIAN style wider & slighter bigger acrylic storage drawers which are going to be available in-store & online in August which I’m dying to get my hands on! It’s a 5 drawer unit for around £25 - a bargain if you ask me AND they’re limited edition too, eeek! Anyone else with putting that on their wishlist?

Amazing storage! I have the same perspex boxes from Muji too but I only have 2 sets of the "2 box" ones. I was looking to buy another box but now that you've mentioned that they are coming out with a 5 drawer unit, I'll wait until August. Thanks for the heads up and great post as always!

I wish I had more faces to wear all the stuff on though!! LOL Muji is good & affordable stuff
Oh, love this post - love seeing how others store their makeup. I’ve been considering Muji storage for ages - only thing that puts me off is I usually apply makeup in my hallway as it has the best light :-/
Not sure if I can resist the new Kardishan kit though - sounds ace!

I love muji drawers, I store my make-up and brushes in the same ones! I already have some slim 5 drawer units I bought from Muji about 8 years ago which they don’t sell anymore, looks they are bringing out something similar, although it looks like the drawers are not as deep as Kim K ones. x
I know, I’m gutted they’re not as deep but anything to make my storage more compact would be ideal for me! x

hey! i came across your blog i love it! im a similar skintone to you and the mac girls were givin me a headache lol i was just wondering u mention you use the mineralise skinfinish natural face powder? i have c3 mac face and body as a foundation and they previously gave me ‘medium dark’ which was wayy to dark. thanks so much in advance xxx

I’m NC30/35 in MAC and also wear a C3 in their Face & Body. I love MAC’s Mineralise Skinfinish natural face powder - I’m a medium plus and it suits me perfectly! I hope that helps?

I LOVE posts like this! I love your set up, I love how you have your makeup in the acrylic units but also have products stored away so it’s not too much. I’m still undecided wether to invest in the acrylic storage unit. I know if I don’t I will regret it lol
