Hi my lovelies. How are you all doing? Happy Leap Year eve… ? Any of your ladies out there thinking of proposing to your other half tomorrow?! I just got back from my gym induction (YES!! After umming & ahhing I finally joined!) & am completely shattered! So, a couple of weeks ago I decided to make a list of things I want to blog about… One being my YSL Rouge Volupte lippy collection! Meet these 5 beauties…

I’m not going to bang on too much about how truly AMAZING they are, because I’ve said it many times on my blog. If you can’t afford to fork out almost £40 on a Tom Ford lippy, then this is the next best thing! The texture, colour, scent & glossy finish is totally worth the £23.50! They do tend to get used up fairly quickly, but hey! I always try & get these when they’re either on offer or from duty free 
Here are some swatches for the colours I own…
I think the colour I regret buying has to be ‘Sweet Honey’ but all the other colours tend to get worn at least once a week 
I’m kinda annoyed that not all of the Rouge Voluptes seem to have the little mirror on the lids… It’s definitely one of the perks of owning one! YSL, if by any chance you’re reading this please sort it out!
Have you tired the YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks before? What colours are your favourite? Or which colours are on your mental shopping list? I really want to try ‘Peach Passion’ or #13 next!

It was my first YSL lippy!! It broke in half because I forgot to take the lid on a night out (not a smart move!) but I use it sparingly!! LOL x
I love nude beige with a smokey eye! I have #1 nude beige, #8 fetish pink, #9 caress pink, #12 forbidden burgandy and exquisite plum but I can’t remember what number it is. I like them A LOT and would buy more if they weren’t so darn expensive! Grrr! I actually quite like how sweet honey looks! xx
Holy Smokes! I just realised that’s over £200 on YSL lipsticks between us!haha But they sure are good!

Yes!! Totally, you NEED them in your life. Orange Shiver was my go-to colour last summer. It still looks great as ever

I have 2 (don’t know the names, a nude and a light brown) and i really don’t like the formulation. Its not pigmented and wears of VERY quickly, i feel as if MAC’s lustres last longer. I really love fetish and opera rose though, will check them out on a discount site

Really?! I find the pigmentation to be quite good! The colours I own have a really good pay-off! I find that MAC lipsticks after a few hours can be very drying at times whereas YSL is more moisturising. However, I do love MAC lipsticks… you can get two for the price instead of 1 YSL LOL… Probably one of the reasons why I refuse to pay full price for them! LOL x
I only have 2 Rouge Volupte lippies but i’m sllightly addicted to them, I love looking at them. I have Opera Rose too which took a little getting used to but I love it now and it looks gorge on you too. x

Opera Rose and Nude Beige look gorgeous!! I have yet to find a YSL lipstick that doesn’t look gloopy on me, I don’t know what it is but they just look too thick on my lips! x
Those two colours are definitely gorgeous! Really? Have you tried dabbing it on your lips rather than dragging it? It could help

I love these luxe lipsticks, I have the Sheer Candy clear balm, which is mango scented > slides on, moisturises and tastes good too!

I got the secret sales lipstick travel selection thing today! My other YSL is sooo smooth and creamy but the new ones seem a little grainy? Im hoping its just a top layer but time will tell!

as soon as i looked at the swatches i said “omg sweet honey is so pretty”…but come to find out that’s the only one you DIDNT like..lol. i just think it’d be a beautiful nude for me. nude beige is pretty too, and i’ve been eyeing fetish for a while now.
