Lipgloss and Leopard Print.

Hello there all you Beauty-Fulfilled readers!

As you already know, Kaushal’s blog is being taken over by guest bloggers while she’s away on holiday and today’s my turn to post! I’m Sriya from Lipgloss And Leopard Print and this is the first guest post I’ve ever done and I’m really glad it’s for this blog as it’s definitely one of my favourites! Anyway, I thought I’d do a post on my favourite products that I use to style my hair whether it be straight, wavy or curly. Hope you like it! Here we go..

Shampoo, Conditioner & Treatment

Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner: I’ve just started using Organix’s Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. For a while now I’ve been on the hunt for a good shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t contain sulphates and parabens and so far I’m really loving this one! It’s the only sulfate and paraben free shampoo and conditioner that I’ve actually got on with. It smells good and it leaves my hair looking oh so glossy and healthy! These products also protect from styling heat and UV damage which is a bonus and the shampoo lathers well unlike most sulphate and paraben free shampoos I’ve tried.

Joico K-Pak Moisture Intense Hydrator: As an intensive treatment for when my hair is feeling like it needs a treat, I love using Joico’s K-Pak Moisture Intense Hydrator. I apply it to damp hair for 3-5 minutes and then rinse. This stuff smells amazing and it makes my hair so silky, shiny and healthy after I use it. I’d highly recommend this!

Mousse & Hairspary

Pantene Pro-V Enhanced Layers Mousse & Perfect Curls Mousse: When I want to achieve effortless messy curls, I scrunch in either the enhanced layers mousse or the perfect curls mousse to wet hair. This really helps to enhance my curls and add volume and it holds really well compared to when I curl my hair with a curling tong/straightener. It also smells amazing just like most Pantene products and it has that signature Pantene scent to it which I love. I’ve been using these mousses for years now.. I’ve tried others but I always end up coming back to these ones!

L’oreal Elnett Hairspray: After I’ve applied the mousse and my hair has dried, I spritz it with some Elnett hairspray to make the curls last longer. The one I am using at the moment is the Extra Strength hairspray with Pro-Keratin but I usually just pick up any Elnett hairspray as I like them all! If I curl my hair using a curling tong, rollers or a straightener then I also apply some hairspray once it’s styled to keep the curls in place.

Serum, Crème, & Leave in Treatment

L’anza Neem Plant Silk Serum: This is my all time favourite serum and it can be applied to wet or dry hair. I like applying this to dry hair after it has been straightened or curled or even on my natural hair! This serum is AMAZING.. Unlike many other serums I’ve tried this one provides instant shine and softness without weighing my hair down or making it greasy. It also protects your hair from UV rays and you only need to use a teeny bit as a small amount goes a long way. I’ve had mine for a good few months now and you can see in the picture above that it’s practically still full. I’d highly recommend this product to everyone.. I can’t live without it!

John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Agent: This is a product that I’ve been using for years! I apply it to my hair after I’ve straightened or curled it if I’m not using the L’anza serum to get rid of any frizz and static hair. It’s an absolute must have for me.

CHI Keratin Mist: This is a leave-in strengthening treatment that I’ve been using for a while now. I spray about 3-4 pumps into dry hair and then straighten or curl. With this product a little goes a long way which means it lasts for AGES. This Keratin Mist really makes my hair look and feel silky without weighing it down and it’s supposed to be a heat protectant too which is perfect as I don’t have one. It smells really strong like aftershave though which I like but others may not.

Dry Shampoo & Hair Oil

Batiste Dry Shampoo: Batiste dry shampoo has been a staple in my hair care routine for years and I don’t know what I would do without it now. For those of you that don’t know what dry shampoo is, it’s basically a product that you spray into your roots, massage in and then comb over to revitalise greasy hair! It’s so quick and easy to use and comes in handy on those days you don’t have time to wash your hair. At the moment I’m using Batiste Blush but my other favourites include Batiste Tropical, Boho and Brit. These dry shampoo’s are also a great way to add volume to your hair!

Quick tip: When I have don’t have any dry shampoo left, I use talcum powder instead.. It’s messy but it gets the job done!

Vatika Coconut Hair Oil: I put this coconut oil in my hair for a couple of hours or sometimes even overnight as often as I can to really nourish and condition my hair. I always notice such a huge difference when I use it and I’d really recommend using an oil in your hair at least once a fortnight if you can. You can also use other oils such as almond oil, jasmine oil and moroccan oil which are all just as good if not better!

So there you have it, my favourite hair products! What are your favourites? :)

WOW - that post was truly inspiring! My hair care isn’t as amazing as Sriya’s - she’s totally made me wanna sort it out! If you have any recommendations, do leave me a comment :) Also don’t forget to check out Sriya’s wonderful blog HERE.

Nice to see Sriya here! Great post. I’ve been seeing the Organix Argan Oil shampoos around and been tempted to try them. As soon as I finish the Shea Butter ones from the same range I’ll try the Argan Oil one, so thanks for the review!
