MUA Eye Liner Haul!

Hi dolls, I’m back again for a little haul post. This is pretty much the CHEAPEST haul I have ever done - it only cost me £3! I can be a bit of a snob when it comes to really cheap make-up so wasn’t expecting anything great from these. But, they’ve proved me wrong, for sure!! Thinking about it now, I should have picked up some more bits for myself.

RRP: £1 each.

Because I’ve been ditching the black eye liner recently I thought I’d see what they have to offer me in this range :) I came home with 3 colours…

They are fairly PIGMENTED & GLIDE onto your upper lash line very well. I thought I’d show you lovelies how it looks like on :)

My FAVOURITE out of these has to be ‘Royal Blue’ - it’s more like a sapphire blue & looks great on brown eyes :)

I thought the sharpeners on the lids would be a waste & wouldn’t work but to my pleasant surprise, they work so well! One thing I have to say is that they are very creamy/oily which makes them TRANSFER onto my eye lid if I do the line too thick… If that makes sense?

Does anyone know how to make that stop? I’ve tried using a primer, but it still transfers - so I make sure it’s not too thick to overcome this. However, for £1 each, I think these are GREAT for the summer! They aren’t on Superdrugs website… I’m hoping they’re not discontinued?! :( If someone knows anything about these, do let me know!

Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend cupcakes!

These are too good to be true for the price aren’t they? If you’re into coloured eye liners, you have to try out Gosh’s long lasting liner pen. It’s a liquid so you wont have transfer issues too.

Oh wow these look lovely! I would love to give you a solution concerning them transferring but it happens to me as well and I have no clue how to stop it :( x

    • Kaushal says:

Thanks hun! I know I don’t want to have to go through major efforts to stop it form happening though! x

  3. nada says:

oooh how pretty! i love all three the purple looks very summery though! you could try adding some eyeshadow of the same colour on top?

  6. Lily says:

Oooh, the blue looks lovely! I haven’t spotted these in my Superdrug yet :/ You can stop the transfer by patting some translucent powder or a matching eyeshadow over them :)

Ooh they looks great I haven’t seen them in my towns superdrug yet though but we only have a small MUA section, I want the green and the purple cos i’ve already got a similar blue one,

I like MUAs lipsticks and nail polishes but tried the glitter eyeliners and a blush and was really disappointed, the eyeshadows are quite good and pigmented too but they crumble so easy

    xx

MUA eyeshadows are absolutely AMAZING for the price! Seriously, I got a bunch a couple of weeks ago and they’re stunning! There’s even one thats an exact dupe for MAC’s Club eyeshadow but more pigmented.

As for the colour transfer, I haven’t tried this myself, but you could try going over the liner with some translucent powder or an eyeshadow of the same colour? xxx

    • Kaushal says:

I could do that but hate it when powder gets on my lashes! Oh, I’ll definitely swatch their eye shadows, thanks Mina x

  9. Sophie says:

MUA never fails to impress me, the quality of the products are always amazing considering how cheap they are! The green eyeliner looks amazing against your skin colour.

Have you tried dusting a powder over your eyes to set the eyeliner?

    • Kaushal says:

Lots of people have said to dust translucent powder onto it - but I hate that powdery-ness on my lashes after :( x

  10. Nora says:

Wow these look amazing, the blue one definetely makes your eyes pop! I need to check these out asap!

  11. Sana says:

Gorgeous and they look so creamy! I’m so going to check these out! xx

  12. Tass says:

Damn they really are pigmented! Wasn’t expecting that! I might get the royal blue one. About the transfer, try dusting loose translucent powder over your lids xxx

  13. stylefrost says:

Love the green and blue on you, so pretty! x

  14. Gemma says:

Lovely Lilac is a gorgeous colour :) x

  15. Aysh says:

Oh my gosh, look how wonderfully pigmented they are!! Such gorguz looking colours too! I totally dismissed this line after getting a bad quality polish, but think I deffo need to try these. I have that exact same problem too hun! Every time I use my gel liner it leaves an imprint in the crease, really frustrating! Maybe if you pat on some eyeshadow after to dry it?? Hmmm, lets google it! lol!

    Love Aysh xoxo

OMG! I have never seen such gorgeous eye liners before. Love them. XX

  17. kuki says:

you have to stick some eyeshadow on to stop them transferring. lightly but tightly pack on a matching colour. will not budge, so long as you use good quality eyeshadow of course!

    • Kaushal says:

I don’t see the point of applying the same colour eye shadow on top (makes the eye liner a little pointless LOL) x

  18. forallthings says:

    i have brown skin too.
I feel like i can full off these colors.

  19. kiran says:

    royal blue looks gorgeous!
my eyeliners ALWAYS ended up all over, even when I used primer, until I started applying a matte concealor, face and facepowder on top and THEN eyeliner/whatever else, it keeps it all locked in place. I did a post about this too (LOL), let me know how you find it ?
    xx
