Avoir la pêche.

Hi dolls, I feel like I haven’t blogged properly in too long! I must keep it up. I do miss blogging every other day… It doesn’t help that I’m having major problems with my camera. But never-the-less, I have my good ol’ iPhone to save the day for the time being!

I’m a little on the fence with Sleek products at the moment. I have one of their original palettes… The colour pay off is AMAZING but the amount of fall-out I get makes me not want to take it out. But the ‘Avoir La Pêche’ (also known as the ‘Paraguaya i-Divine’) palette sucked me right in, regardless.

RRP: £6.49
Available HERE

I am LOVING corals & bright colours in general, it seems to always get me in a good mood! I don’t own many orange/corals so talked myself into getting this… Okay, I lie. I didn’t have to talk myself into anything :)

The colour pigmentation of ‘Parfait’ & ‘Bellini’ isn’t that great, but the others is amazing! Because I don’t own many colours like these, they are PERFECT for my eye shadow collection :)

This has to be my favourite half of the palette. I love wearing ‘Tangelo’ on my upper lash line as a WINGED LINER :) Also, ‘Peach Gold’ is a gorgeous colour I’ve been sweeping across my entire lid with lots of mascara on my lashes. Another really unusual but stunning colour is ‘Bittersweet’, it’s got purple undertones to it which would look really good as a smoked out liner or to use in the outer V of your eyes :)

This may just be my go to palette this spring season! I’m very glad I didn’t get Sleek’s ‘Good Girl’ palette as I don’t think pinky colours suit me as an eye shadow, but this is totally my thing! For £6.49 you get 12 eye shadows (aprox. 55p each… BARGAIN much?), I say it’s well worth your money!

I’d love to know what your favourite Sleek products are? Am I missing out on anything in particular?

I am in LOVE with this palette! I don’t have any eyeshadows that are similar colours to these, and I’ve been on the hunt for peach colours for summer, so I’ll be rushing out to buy this tomorrow. Thanks for the great review and swatches!

I love this palette, the matching gloss is pretty good too! I never thought to use tangelo as a winged eyeliner, will need to try that out! your photos are fab btw :-)

    • Kaushal says:

I totally missed the gloss but will give it a swatch for sure next time I’m at Superdrugs :) Aw thank you, I’m surprised they came out so well hehe x

I’d love to see all the different looks you’ve created with this like EOTD’s :)
Its so pretty but I can’t justify buying it because I don’t think i’d wear many of the colours!
    xx

Love the shades in this palette for spring/summer. I have the Storm and Sunset palettes already which I really like but these shades are so much softer. x

    • Kaushal says:

They are definitely way softer, which is nice as usually their colours are very much in-your-face & out there x

I gave this palette a miss but after seeing your swatches i might have to head down to superdrugs tomorrow. I bought the blush pao tan from this collection, it looks really bright in the pan but is gorgeous once worn, I think it would look lovely on you:)

Hey Hun! I was unsure about this at first but what a product!!! Works well with and without primer. First I thought that it would be rubbish but was quite impressed with the result. They also do a liquid liner too which is not that brilliant but the applicator can give you the most amazing point/winged end xxx

    • Kaushal says:

I know, can you imagine how the colours would look with a primer?! I’m so picky with eye liner brushes x

  12. Gemma says:

I swatched this the other day and its beautiful for summer :) x

  13. Sana says:

I’m so jealous of you guys in the UK because we don’t have Sleek makeup here. I had to purchase mine on EBAY a few days ago but it hasn’t arrived yet. I can’t wait to test it out and see what all the hype is about! Following all of these UK bloggers makes me want to visit London so badly! I think the first place that I would go to is Primark. I’ve heard way too many wonderful things about it!

    xoxo sana

    • Kaushal says:

Oh no! Well, I hope they launch where you live soon :) Oh my, Primark is amazing (but hectic at the same time - totally worth it though!) xx

  14. Rachel says:

I really love the look of this palette, I just don’t think I’d get enough wear from it!

  15. Sundari says:

i’m debating buying this one! i’m waiting for the mediterranean (omg my spelling) one coming out in summer or their nude one!!
    xxxx

    • Kaushal says:

I prefer their Mediterranean (you totally spelt it right LOL) to their Caribbean one for sure! But I absolutely love Corals so had to get my hands on this! x
