Costume Jewellery.

“Wearing costume jewellery is like wearing glass slippers. You can feel like you’re going to the ball, even if you’re not.” - Judith Miller

RRP: £25

A few weeks ago I was sent the book ‘Costume Jewellery’ by Judith Miller. I was really excited to be able to review this book. I LOVE jewellery - I suppose growing up in an Indian family (as well as being surrounded by all things Bollywood!) helped this :)

I also love reading books because it lets me get lost in a world of my own where I can let my imagine run WILD!

The book is broken down into 5 sections. These include the history, major designs, classic designs, galleries and future designs of jewellery. For me personally, the book showed & taught me the EVOLUTION of costume jewellery from not only different eras but also but various known & unknown brands & designers. I thought I’d share some favourite pieces of mine with you lovely people :)

As you can probably tell… I have a thing for DIAMONDS & PEARLS  This book is perfect for jewellery & book lovers. Now that Christmas is just around the corner it can also be the perfect gift to get for your loved ones :) This is my first book review & I’m sorry if it’s not very in depth… but I promise that I’ll get better! :)
